New problem

Postby jshearer » Fri Dec 07, 2007 6:48 pm

I have backup assist installed 3.4.4. It has been faultless for 1.5 years but the backup suddenly stopped working. I changed the tape drive but it still failed. I got the following message

The BackupAssist Backup Executor has detected that the backup operation failed to complete within the timeout period of 600 minutes. The following report shows the backup status at the time of timeout:

Connect to tape library - Successful
Perform tape inventory - Successful
Detect inserted tape - Successful

Freeing tape for backup - Successful
Performing phase one backup - Executing...
Copying open files - Pending
Performing phase two backup - Pending
Ejecting tape - Pending
