The Backup tab is used to the create, manage and monitor backups and backup jobs. The options available are accessed from the Backup tab's Home page.
Create a New Backup Job
This selection is used to create backup jobs. Below is an overview of the backup types available and what they can be used for.

BackupAssist provides a suite of backup types that support VSS, encryption, and incremental backups. The type of backup job that is best for you will depend on what you’re backing up, your backup destination, and your restore and recovery requirements. System Protection backup
| Required for | Only System Protection can create a backup that can be used for a bare-metal recovery. |

File Protection

File Archiving

SQL Server Protection (requires the SQL Continuous add-on)
